Contracts Administrator / Specialist

A family-run business which has grown rapidly in the last few years, my client provides niche drug development services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Their work involves them collaborating on very sensitive information which is bound by strict confidentiality. As such, there is a lot of work using confidentiality agreements and service level agreements which need to be managed.

In the newly created Contracts Administrator role you will be responsible for ensuring the timely turnaround of these documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance is adhered to. The majority of the time is making slight amendments to these documents and checking. It would be rare that you would ever write one from scratch. The company has external legal support to call on as a safety net, however, we expect you to be able to use discretion on using them only when really necessary so as to speed up the lead times.

This job is suited to someone who has worked extensively around the administration of customer contracts which are often sensitive/legal. You will be working with a fantastic group of colleagues who are really focused on delivering solutions to help their customers develop new medicines and therapies quicker, which is really important work.

Ideally, you will have experience of working for a pharmaceutical or biotech business, or as a supplier to those types of business. However, we are open to applicants from all sectors, providing the skills that are still relevant and transferable.

This can be either a full-time or part-time role (3 days) depending on the preference of the successful candidate. You would be working Monday-Friday during normal office hours. Typically the role would be based at the office which is newly built, during COVID-19 and there is the flexibility for more home-based working with some trips into the office.
