We also seek an experienced and ambitious Technical Director-Packaging for another new exciting opportunity in the fast growth Packaging division within this group. This is a more hands-on Directorship role, requiring strong Technical NPD experience, including practical ‘stage-gate’ scientific project management, market and competitor analysis and face to face client liaison. You must have strong commercial –awareness and be able to build effective relationships with global clients, suppliers, third party agents, authorities, and governing bodies besides working collaboratively with all internal functions, including R&D, HSE, Operations, and Commercial Sales. This role will require your willingness to travel globally.
We would like to hear from you if you are a commercially-focused, PhD in Polymer Chemistry or a related subject, ideally with ‘Prince 2’ Project Management and an additional Business or Commercial Qualification. You must have substantial Technical and NPD management experience gained in other highly regulated B2B manufacturing environments, such as FMCG Food/Tobacco, Packaging, Chemicals, or from another Textiles/Advanced Materials company.
