Senior International Sales Manager


Overview

Our client is an established leader in haemostasis management and POC testing. In recent years the business has seen rapid growth, expanding their product portfolio through both internal development and acquisition of complimentary point-of-care products.

Strategy

We were approached by the client following a number of campaigns we had undertaken within the POC Diagnostics sector. A recent acquisition and company re-organisation had led to the need to expand their international sales team, with a particular focus in Northern Europe. The requirement for the role was a fluent German speaker, ideally with additional language skills, and expertise in managing medical distributor partners throughout Northern Europe. Having worked in some 26 countries across the globe, RMG were ideally placed to provide a swift and effective pan-European search.

Outcome

Within a period of 3 weeks we were able to identify a number of high calibre international sales professionals throughout Northern Europe with the requisite expertise of managing specialist distributors. Whilst the logistics of the interview process were challenging, we were able to take a number of candidates through a robust selection process involving interviews in multiple countries. One particular candidate stood out throughout the process and was ultimately offered the position. We continue to work with the client and following extremely positive feedback on the appointment of their Senior International Sales Manager, hope to quickly establish a long term partnership.
